The HBO Miniseries “Mildred Pierce” which is a five part miniseries starring Academy Award winner, Kate Winslet premiered last night.
The movie is聽based on the 1941novel about a聽woman who is struggling to balance her new life as a single mother with two children and a new career.
Filming of the movie took place in Peekskill, New York. 聽Students and Staff watched how our聽 was converted into聽Cristofor’s Cafe, a vintage diner where Pierce worked as a waitress before becoming a successful restaurateur. 聽The School was one of two locations used to film interior shots.
The students of 聽聽had an experience they will never forget being able to work as production assistants, extras, and help with make-up and costume designs.
The miniseries will continue Sunday night on HBO!
