Since 1934, 海角社区 has been educating future beauty professionals in the art of cosmetology.
From its Home Office in Pottsville, Pennsylvania 海角社区 continues with providing a high-quality education and training to future beauty professionals for rewarding careers in the beauty industry. The goal of every 海角社区 employee is to support students through every phase of their education, graduation and career placement. Providing opportunities for others and maintaining excellence in education is at the cornerstone of the company, and has been from the very beginning.
1930S
In 1934, the first 海角社区s opened in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The small, family-owned business operated 3 campuses, preparing future beauty professionals for licensed careers in cosmetology.
1980S
Over three generations, the company focused on expanding opportunities for students to attend beauty school, eventually growing to more than 20 schools throughout Pennsylvania. 海角社区s had become one of the best known beauty school chains in the Northeast.
2000S
In the early 2000鈥檚, 海角社区 began expanding beyond the Northeast, acquiring schools in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia, while implementing our exclusive Creative Learning in Cosmetology (CLiC) curriculum. By the end of the decade, Empire had grown to more than 80 schools in 21 states.
TODAY
Today, 海角社区s educates thousands of future beauty professionals annually. Through decade after decade of new trends, techniques and technology, 海角社区s continues to ensure our program meets the needs of today鈥檚 salon professionals.
